Dancing Coyote Camp — The Nature Awareness Experience for Children Ages 7-14

About Dancing Coyote Camp

Dancing Coyote Camp is a unique outdoor experience. Children learn, not only about nature, but about responsibility for self and the environment. This leads to increased confidence and a greater understanding of the interconnectedness of the world they explore.

Cooperation and kindness play a key role in this team experience in which friendships form and flourish.

The camp was founded by Gayle Holeton, a Montessori teacher and mother of two boys. Gayle saw a need for children of diverse backgrounds to come together to have a life-changing experience learning about nature. Montessori philosophy is very experiential in its approach.

Dancing Coyote Camp is more than just a place for kids to have fun for a week or two. It is more than a way for parents to relax without children for a while. Dancing Coyote Camp ensures that "student campers" learn about their place in nature and develop an appreciation for the natural world.
