Dancing Coyote Camp, in beautiful central Washington, overlooking the Wenatchee River.

Dancing Coyote camp is located about 100 miles east of Seattle, Washington. Located in the picturesque Cascade Mountain Range, Dancing Coyote Camp lies just outside the town of Leavenworth, nestled in the Cascade foothills, overlooking the Wenatchee River.

Note: The office address listed at the bottom of the page is the administrative office and is not the physical location of the camp itself.

Driving directions from Seattle using Interstate 90:

From I-5, take I-90 east Cle Elum, exit 85.
Follow the signs for State Route 970/97; this turns into Route 97 North.
Follow 97 to State Route 2 West.
Turn left/west toward Leavenworth at State Route 2.
Follow this about 5 miles to the second light.
You should see the Safeway on your right. Wait at the left of the store in their parking lot.

Driving directions from Everett using State Route 2:

Head east on State Route 2 to Leavenworth.
Pass through town and cross the bridge over the Wenatchee River.
Turn left on Riverbend Road into the Safeway parking lot. Wait at the left end of the store lot.

Transportation to and from Dancing Coyote Camp is the responsibility of each camper’s parent or guardian.

Transportation for off-site hikes or river play will be conducted in staff cars. All passengers will be in seat belts and the vehicles will not exceed 35 mph.
